We cannot recommend you highly enough to others going through a similar experience.  Thank you for your attention to details, your clever and thoughtful use of technology, your patience with our requests and your understanding in the face of COVID and the need to change plans at the last minute. 

 

Dear Peter and Jenny and all the team at Richmond Funeral Home,

Thank you for how you cared for us with so much care and consideration. You helped make a difficult time in our lives easier to manage thanks to your knowledge, expertise and understanding.

Thank you also for the Grief Centre information booklets and telephone counselling sessions.  It was nice to talk with someone who was not directly involved and who had experience of helping people going through grief.

We are incredibly grateful for all you did for us.

 The girls and I were so very pleased with how the funeral went.  And we are again overwhelmed by the positive and warm responses from our families and friends, both those who attended and those who streamed in live. 

You made the whole thing so easy, and you were so supportive, fitting in with all our requests.  The Anzac Hall was amazing, very appropriate for us, and quite serendipitous the way it worked out.  The location and the timing were perfect.  And everything else was handled extremely well.  We love your car!  The service sheet, the catering, the flowers, the coffin itself,  the streaming service, the music and the graphics were all just as we would have liked.  We have already had friends enjoying and being moved by the photo presentation.  

We clearly hope we don’t have to use your services again soon, but we know a good undertaker to recommend to anyone that needs one!

Mum and I were just so delighted by the photo book you put together for us.

  We loved the way you compiled the photos and the texts and the way you put the photos together was so thoughtful.  The selection of texts was perfect – it felt as you knew Mum and Dad so well.  Thank you so much for this wonderful collection of memories of Dad.

We have all been overwhelmed by all you have done for us this past week.

When we look at the photo on Mum’s Memorial book’s cover and note the significance of the location, how you managed to capture everything so perfectly and pick up on so much is amazing. The poems you have included are perfect and the whole presentation is just awesome.

The support you gave us and the professionalism you showed when we were faced with some difficult decisions. The children’s soft toys that Mum was able to give to her great grandchildren when everyone said their final goodbyes.

We feel blessed that you agreed to support us in this difficult part of our lives and sincerely appreciate the effort you made to make this occasion such a Special celebration for someone as Special as our Mum.

 

You probably hear this all the time, but we cannot thank you enough for the seamless way you managed everything.  I realise it must be difficult trying to get sense out of people whose minds are elsewhere, and the quiet, professional way you steered us through this past week has just been amazing.   So thank you from all of us.

 

On behalf of our family, would like to extend our thanks and gratitude to your team for your dedication and thoughtfulness as we farewelled our dear family member.
